I've always believed that travel is about so much more than the places we visit. It's about the people we meet, the stories we hear, the traditions we experience, and the moments that stay with us long after we've returned home.
For me, exploration has never been about collecting passport stamps or chasing the next destination. It's about remaining curious—whether I'm wandering through a centuries-old European city, discovering a hidden winery in California, sharing a meal that introduces me to a new culture, or sitting down with someone whose story changes the way I see the world.
That's the heart of Taste Toast Travel.

Like many people, I balance my love of travel with the realities of everyday life. I work full-time, count down the days until my next vacation, and try to make the most of every opportunity to explore—whether that's across the ocean or close to home here in California.
For a long time, I felt like the travel industry celebrated only one version of exploration: traveling constantly.
But I know there are countless people who love travel just as deeply, even if they can only take a few meaningful trips each year.
That's who I created Taste Toast Travel for.
I wanted to build a place where curiosity doesn't have to pause between vacations. A place where stories, conversations, local discoveries, and cultural experiences keep that spirit of exploration alive every day.
Because I believe travel isn't just something we do, it's a way of seeing the world.

Travel has taken me to incredible places, but some of my favorite memories have come from the quieter moments. Lingering over a long meal in Italy with my husband, getting lost on a neighborhood street in Spain with my best friend, chatting with locals in Ireland, or stumbling upon a place I never even planned to visit.
Living in Italy deepened my appreciation for slow travel, local culture, and the idea that some of the best experiences happen when you simply slow down and pay attention.
Experiences like these continue to shape the way I travel today, and I really am such a constant dreamer when it comes to where I want to visit next (and there's always somewhere).
Professionally, I work in digital marketing in the wine industry of Norther California, which has given me a deep appreciation for storytelling and connecting people with meaningful experiences. Alongside Taste Toast Travel, I also host conversations that explore life's deeper journeys through my other podcast, Life With Grief, reminding me that every person's story has the power to teach us something new.
